Not Until You Bless Me
1:05 am: A few nights ago I was doing my usual bible reading at night. However, I came upon the story of Jacob and the angel and began to become emotional. Life will not always place the peace in your mind to allow one to become sound . Provide you with a lesson that explains all of your mistakes. Give you the POWER that you need to take your life back. Or even give you that last breath that you need to live. Sometimes you have to TAKE IT TO MAKE IT.
I won't let go until you bless me,
Pin me....throw me down...grab the hollow of my thigh,
Because it's gonna take all of that to break me,
You must physically unbind my hands,
I swear you're gonna have to make me,
Shake me....wrestle me...bring me to my knees,
Dust my body with the likes of the ground,
Lord I'm holding this position,
Til you take me,
I've finally fallen limp...overpowered by your strength,
And left a with a forever limp,
By your awesome power,
That you so graciously poured on me,
"He who struggles with God",
Was given a new name,
I thought if I gave you the same fight,
Then perhaps you would do the same,
I won't let go until you bless me,
Give me my Genesis chapter 32 & 26
So I leave you with a scripture that I learned as a child: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." I ENCOURAGE everyone of you to WRESTLE whatever "fight" or "blessing" that may be for you and take it.
