The dangers of the natural hair world are real! Find out how bunning my hair for just a little over two months caused my hair to lock! I was actually finding locks in my hair that were about .5 to 1 inch in width! I had about 4 of these around my hair and even more smaller ones dispersed throughout. Yes I DID have to add an additional trim to clean up the damage. Which was done yesterday 5.15.16 My ends were not split terribly...it looked like someone took a brush made of nails and brushed the ends of my hair. THAT is the best way that I can describe it! I noticed that the back of my hair experienced the most damage. Which is quite usual when I am having issues...the back is more susceptible to breakage.  I just hit my 3 years natural mark in April! You would think I would be a pro at this by now right! Wrong! I have Very recently moved back to California. However, I still travel back and forth to Phoenix for work. (Flight Attendant Life) I recently had a Bad hair day last week (PSORIASIS) and had to fix myself up with a quick wash n go before returning to work!  I absolutely adore this quick and easy method...and shoot for something QUICK it sure is extra..super..cute. I have finally attempted my first braid out on natural hair. I absolutely loved it, below is a tutorial on the process.  I am also pleased to inform that I can actually wear a twist out. It felt like it was taking me forever to achieve the look I wanted. But I kept trying....and I believe I needed a product change.  I encourage everyone to continue that hairstyle that you wanted! FRO WERK. I just released my 7month natural hair video update. My hair was blown out for the length check I show you guys! Hey everyone: Seems like it has been a tough MINUTE since I mentioned my new job. However, I will be leaving for training this Sunday May 19, 2013. Omg I am all packed and ready for this awesome new adventure in my life. I will be gone for a whole month....and then some because I have to get situated with my new living arrangements. However, I have posted one last video before my return! I needed a protective style for training. I do NOT have time for any Bad Hair days. So.....I opted to try something new! Flat Twist Video People =) BUT....for now I'm being flown to HAWT Arizona to bask in the sun. Well, not really I do actually have some things to learn. lol However, before I leave I plan on posting two videos that I haven't posted yet about my transitioning days. Wow it is so funny saying that because they actually just ended. lol But I will attempt to keep updates on here and my youtube as much as possible! Until then....wish me luck...and let's grow people.

My mom just cut the rest of her perm off today!!! Yay! So happy for her BUT it makes me soooo ready to do mines. Her hair is way more curlier than I expected....it's so beautiful! I will post her video soon. (4gradesnatural) However, I put bantu knots in my hair tonight and accidentally left a piece out. Sooooo you already know what I did....yes I cut it!!! I wanted to see how long my hair has grown in a year....my natural hair. To my surprise it grew a little over 6 inches for the year yay! Thats a half inch every month which is a normal growth rate. My hair looks super short until you stretch it out. Watch me Grow!

Hello My NATURALS AND TRANSITIONERS!!! I have been transitioning from my permed hair to natural hair for a year now! Most of my transition I didn't notice because it was not an active choice because I had NO idea I wanted to be natural! But I am so glad I made the decision and would never and will never go back!  I have cute my hair...bantu knotted it...twisted it...braided it...but NO flat ironing. I have not straightened my hair in at least 6 months. Quite frankly it is not difficult to refrain from heat styles. I love my hair and have learned how to manipulate it. I have various textures...some spiral...some wavy...some zzz...oh goodness.lol

Hey ya'll: Well, I learned a new hairstyle within the last two days! I put myself on trial because omg I really need to learn how to do my hair. My ma can't save me all the time right.lol  But any who Yay go me....wheew was this one a doozie at first for me. But I really wanted a different look to the back of my hair and kept practicing til I got it. I would not have been as difficult but I am going NATURAL ya know. So that made things a little challenging. But you know what....now that I got it...I GOT IT ;). This is a great style for a nice sexy get up or when it's time to put that BUSINESS look together. Not too long ago I cut about 3-4 inches of my hair off. I was a little afraid of how to handle my hair at first after the chop. However, omg I did bantu knots on my hair immediately and BOOM I was like heeeeeeeeeeey.lol I was really feeling my curly afro. I love my hair and I am so happy with my transition thus far. You should be able to see how my hair turned out in this video. And the explanation of why my hair is gold on the top ;p. But um comments...questions...concerns? Hit me up! And omg I have been using grapeseed oil in my hair as of lately along with my family....and guess what my hair is soooo SOFT LOVE IT! However, I just uploaded a Vday hair special behind the scenes from the up-do my mother gave me.    I love big, wild, edgy hair so she gave me something a little different. I like to call it my bohemian up-do ; ) However, as you all know I just cut 3- inches of hair off so I was not sure how COOL of a hairstyle I could actually get. lol Omg why would I think my mom would have issues with my new hair. Cause you know what she ROCKED IT! And guess what I can wear this for a few days later! Omg what would we do without protective styling! Braids, twists, two strand twists, and bantu knots were all used to achieve this look.
