I have finally attempted my first braid out on natural hair. I absolutely loved it, below is a tutorial on the process. I am also pleased to inform that I can actually wear a twist out. It felt like it was taking me forever to achieve the look I wanted. But I kept trying....and I believe I needed a product change. I encourage everyone to continue that hairstyle that you wanted! The tweek of a product just might be what you need to achieve that awesome hairstyle!
I hope everyone is doing well with their hair journey's!
OMG ya'll my family aka 4Gradesnatural just did a photo shoot the other day! We had so much fun getting dressed together and doing our hair! My little sister Ky straightened her hair for the first time in a year. However, she had it professionally done...cut..etc. Will definitely post a video on that process! However, the rest of us had our hair pulled back off of our faces! But the best thing about this is it's NATURAL. We also did not have these photo's touched up! This is who we are! We are greatly defined by our natural selves and are in LOVE with it. Here are a few photos from our shoot! Check our facebook page out to see videos and updates from 4gradesnatural! (We all have different textures of hair) Follow our page..check us out..and WATCH US GROW! http://www.facebook.com/4gradesnaturall
I have Very recently moved back to California. However, I still travel back and forth to Phoenix for work. (Flight Attendant Life) I recently had a Bad hair day last week (PSORIASIS) and had to fix myself up with a quick wash n go before returning to work! I absolutely adore this quick and easy method...and shoot for something QUICK it sure is extra..super..cute. (You just can't go wrong) Every phase of my hair journey I tend to lean towards one specific way of doing my hair. This just happens to be my current phase.lol These are working wonders for me with my lifestyle! Hair bag MUST HAVES: Oil: Preferably Shea Butter Spray Bottle: For Water Gel: Eco Styler Gel for that undeniable HOLD baby! Products: Shea Butter and Eco Styler Gel Check out THE process =) Kamitinae
OMG....Valentines Day is just a few days away! My family page http://www.youtube.com/user/4GradesNatural has been doing Valentines Day hairstyles for natural, transitioning, etc, hair all week! However, I just uploaded a Vday hair special behind the scenes from the up-do my mother gave me. I love big, wild, edgy hair so she gave me something a little different. I like to call it my bohemian up-do ; ) However, as you all know I just cut 3- inches of hair off so I was not sure how COOL of a hairstyle I could actually get. lol Omg why would I think my mom would have issues with my new hair. Cause you know what she ROCKED IT! And guess what I can wear this for a few days later! Omg what would we do without protective styling! Braids, twists, two strand twists, and bantu knots were all used to achieve this look. But don't worry it sounds more complicated than it actually is. haha But anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines with your loved ones! -xoxo...
