The dangers of the natural hair world are real! Find out how bunning my hair for just a little over two months caused my hair to lock! I was actually finding locks in my hair that were about .5 to 1 inch in width! I had about 4 of these around my hair and even more smaller ones dispersed throughout. Yes I DID have to add an additional trim to clean up the damage. Which was done yesterday 5.15.16 My ends were not split terribly...it looked like someone took a brush made of nails and brushed the ends of my hair. THAT is the best way that I can describe it! I noticed that the back of my hair experienced the most damage. Which is quite usual when I am having issues...the back is more susceptible to breakage.  I just hit my 3 years natural mark in April! You would think I would be a pro at this by now right! Wrong! I have Very recently moved back to California. However, I still travel back and forth to Phoenix for work. (Flight Attendant Life) I recently had a Bad hair day last week (PSORIASIS) and had to fix myself up with a quick wash n go before returning to work!  I absolutely adore this quick and easy method...and shoot for something QUICK it sure is extra..super..cute. (You just can't go wrong) Every phase of my hair journey I tend to lean towards one specific way of doing my hair. This just happens to be my current phase.lol These are working wonders for me with my lifestyle!  Hair bag MUST HAVES: Oil: Preferably Shea Butter Spray Bottle: For Water Gel: Eco Styler Gel for that undeniable HOLD baby! FIX THE TWISTS For some SUPER ODD reason my twist-outs always need to be doctored-up. If you need a quick twist-out fix try this: 1. Lightly spray ends of hair with water. 2. Grab your FAVE gel...(To fix this you need your BEST GEL) ... 3. Add the gel to your curls. 4. And last give the hair a twirl at the end to keep the original definition in tact. Most of the time this WILL keep the style looking like a twist-out instead of a wash-n-go. By only applying the water and gel to the ends of your hair...you are reducing the shrinkage of the hair in the roots. Therefore, protecting majority of the length! Hey guys! If you didn't know....in 2013 of last year 3 of 4 women in my family did the big chop! My sis...Karmen above...did not. She has NEVER used chemicals to change her natural hair pattern. However....she did transition from heat damage.I'm sure you notice that her hair is completely different than mines! We all actually have very different hair patterns. In this video I recorded my baby sister's twist out. I taped the installation and the take down for you all. Our hair textures are a tad different. The biggest visible difference being that her hair has way more shrinkage than mines! Check out my little sister's Purple Twist-Out. Natural's.....I have FOUND 1$ products that work great on natural hair.  I found shampoo, conditioner, satin cap, and hair towels!  Lord knows I initially went to the store to grab one thing...and ended up with it ALL. Check your local 99cent store for these great buys. This video shows brief tutorials on these products as well. I have finally attempted my first braid out on natural hair. I absolutely loved it, below is a tutorial on the process.  I am also pleased to inform that I can actually wear a twist out. It felt like it was taking me forever to achieve the look I wanted. But I kept trying....and I believe I needed a product change.  I encourage everyone to continue that hairstyle that you wanted! FRO WERK. I just released my 7month natural hair video update. My hair was blown out for the length check I show you guys! Don't worry....the blowout comb was set on COOL.lol It's been almost 2 years since any appliance has touch my hair. I truly believe it has aided in my hair growth!
